Precautions for use and maintenance of mining four wheeled vehicle

To start the engine when the air temperature falls below 5 ℃, some additional mechanical techniques are required. One such technique is preheating the engine using warmed water or steam before starting, allowing the temperature to reach above 30 ℃ - 40 ℃. The compression ignition type diesel engine requires preheating the cylinder temperature, as well as raising the temperature of foggy diesel with heat. This process can help overcome the difficulties of starting the engine in cold weather.

The engine should not be started for more than 15 seconds at once and should be given a rest period of 1 minute before starting again if it fails to start. Once started, idle the engine for a certain period of time; however, take note that the idle time should not exceed 3-5 minutes as extended idle time will result in the formation of carbon deposits on the cylinder's inner wall and consequent cylinder pull. Idling the engine enables the battery to recharge, the water temperature to rise to 55 ℃, and the braking air pressure to exceed 0.4MPa.

The diesel engine can operate at full load when the water temperature reaches 55 ℃ and the oil temperature reaches 45 ℃. However, it is important to ensure that the water temperature and oil temperature of the engine do not exceed 95 ℃ and the gearbox oil temperature does not exceed 110 ℃ during regular operation of the mining four-wheeled vehicle. These temperature limits must be maintained to ensure the safe and efficient working condition of the vehicle.

To prevent damage to the machine body of the mining four-wheel truck, it is recommended to discharge the cooling water from the water tank chamber, engine, oil cooler, and torque converter oil cooler when the temperature falls below 0 ℃ after shutdown. This step will prevent frost cracking from occurring. Additionally, it is also advised to drain the air reservoir frequently to prevent brake failure and icing. These simple measures are crucial in ensuring the truck performs optimally even in extreme weather conditions.

It is imperative that Beijun mechanical mining four-wheeled vehicle engines are started every 15 days if they have not been used for more than half a month to charge the battery. Additionally, if the vehicle has been inactive for over a month, the battery must be removed and charged with a charger to avoid a complete discharge. Furthermore, it is recommended that the mining four-wheel truck is moved around periodically to alleviate pressure on the tires to prevent deformation. Finally, if the vehicle needs to be parked for more than two months, the negative pole of the battery must be disconnected or removed to prevent any form of battery drain.

When operating a diesel engine during the winter months, it is important to use the appropriate fuel oil and engine oil. For winter conditions, it is advisable to use -10# light diesel, while colder areas may require -35# light diesel. Additionally, it is important to use engine oil that meets the CF grade requirement to ensure optimal performance. By following these guidelines, diesel engines can run smoothly and efficiently even in harsh winter conditions.

Regular checks on antifreeze concentration are necessary when the air temperature falls below 0 ℃, and using untreated water as an engine coolant is prohibited. It is imperative to ensure that the engine coolant contains sufficient antifreeze to prevent freezing and damage to the engine. Therefore, maintaining a proper antifreeze ratio becomes essential to prevent damage, and the use of untreated water in cold temperatures is not recommended.
